Current HREC VacanciesThe Human Research Ethics Committee considers the ethical issues of all potential research projects to be conducted by the NT Department of Health & Families (including Royal Darwin Hospital) and the Menzies School of Health Research.
Vacancies currently exist for the following voluntary positions :
Human Research Ethics Committee and Aboriginal Ethics Sub Committee
You will be required to consider the ethical implications of each project submitted to the Committee as described in a written research proposal. Background information on the principles of ethics, their application to health research and National Health & Medical Research Council guidelines will be provided. The Committee meets six times per year on a Wednesday afternoon.
Applicants for the above vacancies should not be currently associated with either the NT Department of Health & Community Services or the Menzies School of Health Research.
