Clinical Trials Workshop
This course is aimed at clinical investigators and others with an interest in trials, particularly those wishing to undertake their own trials or learn more about research relevant to their evidence-based clinical practice. Statisticians, clinical trial managers, research nurses, data managers and pharmaceutical industry personnel may also benefit from learning the theory and practice of conducting a successful clinical trial.

Data Management Workshop
An informal workshop to look at case studies and data management issues such as quality control, quality assurance, data handling procedures, obtaining informed consent and participation in clinical research will be held at the Menzies Centre, following the Practical Course in Clinical Trials. Participants will be requested to provide case studies and/or issues for discussion with tutors who are experienced in all aspects of data management and clinical research.

This 2.5 day course is an introduction to quantitative health information and is designed for people with little or no experience in the use of health information, to enable them to find and interpret existing health information and use it in their day-to-day work.
